The Legend that Inspires the Route
At the beginning of the 20th century, Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid arrived in Bolivia fleeing from justice. Their last escape in the Potosí highlands was shrouded in myth and reality, becoming part of the imagery of Uyuni and the Salt Flat.
The Route of the Gunmen takes that story as inspiration: it is not about visiting the same towns they walked through, but about reviving the spirit of adventure, challenge, and escape in an equally extreme setting—the largest salt desert in the world.

Three stages. Three chapters of a legend.
Each section revives a moment from the last escape of the legendary gunmen. From the ambush to the final refuge, pedal through extreme settings where history and adventure intersect with every kilometer.
